It’s all things Spain on this site, so let us give you a few tips on travelling to the second most popular holiday destination.
First thing you need to make sure is that your passport entitles you to travel, meaning it needs to be valid! You then need to think about cash. Don’t worry too much about large amounts, as there are loads of cash machines. Before you exchange your Pounds to Euros, make sure you check the exchange rate. Also the more you exchange, the better the rate. So if you’re travelling with friends, combine your money as there are special deals for exchanges over £1000.
You then need to think about travel insurance. Make sure you obtain a European Health Insurance Card. It’s not a substitute for insurance, but entitles you to medical treatment in the same manner as Spanish residents. Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended just incase of theft, loss of passports etc.
